Agnes Öttl

Agnes founded the “MusicDanceTheater Weeks,” a summer program open to students from all music schools in South Tyrol, while still in her role as a music school teacher. The “Singing and Theatre Lab” at the Bruneck Music School was also launched on her initiative. It’s therefore hardly surprising that singing and rhythm play a key role in her theatre education work. She is also the go-to expert for theatre educator workshops on vocal training, rhythm, and singing.

In recent years, she has been increasingly in demand to direct plays with adults. A special milestone and major success was the play “Wie im Himmel” for the 40th anniversary of Kleines Theater Bruneck, of which she is a founding member. Between 1997 and 2008, she hosted the television program Theatergugger on RAI Sender Bozen.
