Dorothea has decades of experience in theatre. She works primarily as a drama facilitator, with set design and construction also among her core skills.
In 1998, Dorothea founded the children’s and youth theatre “Innenseite” in Kaltern, where she remains the head to this day. Since its founding, she has staged one or two productions each year. In doing so, she has ensured that young theatre enthusiasts in Kaltern always have a creative space to experiment with acting and grow together as a group. “Innenseite” has since celebrated three major milestones: a dedicated theatre week titled “ratz fatz” for its 10th anniversary, a community theatre festival for its 20th, and hosting the STV’s 18th Children’s Theatre Festival in Kaltern to mark 25 years.
From 1997 to 2015, Dorothea was a member of the STV’s expert committee for children’s and youth theatre, advocating for its needs across the region.
